Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you travel anywhere in Maine?

Yes! We happily coordinate and bartend weddings and events throughout Maine. For locations that are a considerable distance from our base in Midcoast Maine, additional travel fees may apply to cover time and expenses. We’ll always discuss any travel considerations upfront so there are no surprises.

How far in advance should we book?

Ideally 9–12 months before your wedding or event, but we do take on later bookings when possible depending on availability.

    When is payment due?

We require a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before the day of your event. Payment schedules can be customized depending on your package.

    How do we get started?

Reach out via our contact form, email, or phone to schedule a consultation. We’ll discuss your vision, review packages, and determine if our services are the right fit for your event!

  • What does a wedding coordinator do?

A wedding coordinator ensures your day runs smoothly from start to finish. We handle timelines, vendor coordination, and logistics so you can enjoy your celebration stress-free.

What’s the difference between a planner and a coordinator?

A planner helps with full planning—design, vendor selection, budget guidance—from the start. A coordinator focuses on managing the details closer to or on the wedding day, ensuring everything you’ve planned comes together seamlessly.

    What is partial planning?

Partial planning is a great option for couples who still want to handle the majority of the planning themselves, but would like support throughout the process.  Partial planning packages allow couples to work with one of our coordinators up to a year before your big day.

Do you offer a full planning package?

While we don’t offer full planning packages at the moment, our coordination and partial planning services are perfect for couples who have completed parts of the planning but want professional support to bring everything together on the big day. We ensure that every detail is executed flawlessly so you can enjoy your wedding stress-free.

Do you work with destination weddings?

Yes! We specialize in Maine weddings, including destination celebrations. We help you navigate local vendors, accommodations, and logistics so your day is worry-free.

    Can we customize a package?

Absolutely! Every wedding is unique. We’re happy to tailor services to fit your needs, vision, and budget.  We require that we begin working with couples at least 6 weeks prior to their wedding day. This allows our coordinators enough time to finalize all logistics, confirm vendor details, and ensure that everyone involved is fully prepared. By starting at least six weeks out, we can help you walk into your wedding day confident, organized, and stress-free.

When do you start working with us?

This depends on the package you have chosen.  We work with couples anywhere from 6-weeks to one year prior to their wedding day.

Do you attend the wedding rehearsal?

Yes! Attending the rehearsal is included in all of our packages to ensure everyone knows their role and the ceremony runs smoothly.

Do you coordinate other wedding weekend events (i.e. rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, farewell brunch, etc.)?

Yes!  We are happy to add additional coordination services into your custom package.  Our coordinators often help couples plan and coordinate other wedding weekend events.

    Do you provide vendor referrals?

Yes! We maintain a network of trusted photographers, florists, caterers, and more, and can connect you with professionals who match your style and budget.

Do you handle contracts and payments?

We review contracts and timelines for clarity, but booking and payments are handled between couples and their vendors directly.

  • What is included in our mobile bartending service?

Our mobile bartending service brings professional bartenders and all necessary equipment directly to your venue. We help you plan everything you will need for your bar setup, including glassware, decisions on types and amounts of alcohol and creation of signature cocktails.  We handle setup, service, and cleanup, so you and your guests can enjoy the celebration without any stress.

Do we need to provide the alcohol?

Yes, all alcohol for your event will need to be purchased by you. Don’t worry—we’ll guide you on the right quantities and options to ensure the bar is fully stocked for your guests. If it’s helpful, we can even pick up items for you, making your wedding week a little less stressful and giving you one less thing to worry about.

What types of events do you serve?

We cater to weddings, private parties, corporate events, and any celebration where a professional bar service is desired.

Do you provide a tip jar or gratuity options?

Yes, our standard package includes a tip jar so guests can show appreciation if they wish. If you’d prefer the bar to operate without one, we offer packages that don’t include a tip jar—just let us know and we’ll customize your service.

How long is your bar service?

Our standard package includes 5 hours of service, which is ideal for most weddings and events. If you’d like to extend service, an additional hour can be added for a fee.

What types of venues do you work at?

We provide mobile bartending services at a wide variety of venues.  This can include any venue that doesn’t have its own bar service, including your own backyard.

Do you offer cash bar packages?

No, we do not offer cash bar packages. We are a dry bar service, which means we provide professional bartending, setup, and service, but we are unable to charge guests for alcohol. All alcohol must be purchased by you, the event host.

How much does it cost to host an open bar?

A standard selection of craft and domestic beers, mid-tier wines, and mid-tier spirits with all mixers typically costs around $9–$10 per guest. This estimate can vary depending on the types of alcohol you choose, but we’re happy to help you create a bar package that fits your budget and celebration.

How long will bartenders stay at the event?

We tailor our staffing to your event’s timeline. Our bartenders typically arrive 2 hours before your event starts to set up the bar and ensure everything is ready. They stay through the end of your event and handle all cleanup, so you can enjoy your celebration stress-free.

Do you provide craft cocktails or custom drink menus?

Absolutely! We love creating custom cocktails that reflect your style and theme. From signature drinks to classic favorites, we’ll make your bar unique.  We will even design and print.
